Stash Management 101
Learn how to organize and optimize your stash in Speranza for maximum efficiency.
The Stash Space Problem
One of the biggest challenges in ARC Raiders is managing your limited stash space in Speranza. With hundreds of items and materials to collect, it's easy to run out of room. This guide will help you make the most of every slot.
Understanding Stack Sizes
Items in ARC Raiders have different stack sizes. Knowing these can help you store more efficiently:
- Resources: Often stack to high amounts
- Ammo: Various stack sizes depending on type (Light, Medium, Heavy, Shotgun, Energy)
- Weapons/Shields: Don't stack - each takes one slot
- Consumables: Typically smaller stacks
The Max Primitive Strategy
Instead of keeping crafted items, consider storing raw materials (primitives). This gives you flexibility to craft what you need when you need it. The Stash Optimizer's "Max Primitive" strategy shows you exactly what base materials to keep.
Using the Stash Optimizer
The Stash Optimizer calculates the minimum materials needed for your active loadouts:
- Create your desired loadouts in the Loadout Planner
- Set your Workshop station levels accurately
- Go to the Stash Optimizer and select your preferred strategy
- The tool shows exactly what to keep
Optimization Strategies Explained
- Max Primitive: Maximum flexibility, store only base materials
- Convenience: Ready-to-go gear, no crafting needed before heading Topside
- Space Optimized: Smart mix for maximum loadouts per stash slot
What to Sell or Recycle
Once you know what you need, get rid of the rest:
- Excess materials beyond your loadout needs
- Low-value items that take up valuable space
- Duplicate gear you'll never use
Pro Tips
- Check your stash before every raid session to clear excess
- Use the Item Database to check stack sizes when deciding what to keep
- The Refiner can convert materials - sometimes refined materials store better
- Keep a small buffer of consumables ready to go
